MY STORY
Jamie Grisham serves as Lead Pastor of am multi-site Church (Compassion Church) in Dickson and Paris, Tennessee. He is also a church growth consultant, inspirational speaker, and church leadership coach.
Jamie began pastoral ministry in September 2005 in Southeast Missouri. That two-year season accelerated his leadership development—learning to pair the right decisions with the right approach and to build healthy, effective teams. In December 2007, he and his family moved to Middle Tennessee, where Jamie joined Compassion Church. He started as a volunteer, later joined the staff, and has since served as Connections Director, Campus Pastor, Teaching Pastor, CFO, and now Lead Pastor / VP of Operations for Compassion Network. As Jamie likes to say, “The rest is history,” and, “The best is yet to come.”
Jamie and his wife, Jill, met in grade school, became high school sweethearts, and married in 2002. They have three children—Kaley, Abby, and River—and treasure time together, whether traveling or spending quiet evenings at home. Family is everything to the Grishams.
Serving side by side in ministry, Jamie and Jill are passionate about reaching people far from God, loving their community, and developing leaders. They are committed to pastoring Dickson County and the surrounding areas, as well as coaching, mentoring, and training the leaders they encounter. Down-to-earth and approachable, Jamie and Jill simply see themselves as ordinary people God is using for His purposes in this thing we call ministry.
